I’m very thankful to have finally caught some of the orcas on “film”, even if I wasn’t as close as I would have liked! Was such a beautiful day for February as well! This pod had just finished a “snack” near the Don Armeni boat launch and then headed west across the Sound towards Port Orchard. I believe the body of land imediately behind the whales in this shot is Blake Island, for reference.
